Grouse season is now upon us, running from August right up to the beginning of December. So in this weeks blog we're going to look at some tips for a successful shoot. Practice makes perfect When it comes to any type of game shooting practice is the key. We recommend warming up for the season at a shooting school where you can take aim at birds coming in front and going behind with the use of safety sticks. Spaniels Make Great Gundogs! Here at Reid Outdoors  we love our Spaniels and believe that they make great gun dogs. It's not just about Cockers and Singers there are many other wonderful breads of spaniels that you should get to know. American Water Spaniel   This brown Spaniel was originally developed in the Mid West of America.
