Welcome to Reid Outdoors new blog Back in 1972 our family started a business on the island of Islay, manufacturing gear for the fishing industry. Over the years the business and family grew and we decided to move both to the sunnier end of the country and start a new life in Devon. Devon gave us a larger fishing industry to work with and with it’s long sunny days a chance to pursue more coastal and countryside pursuits. As we became more involved in the regions fishing and shooting activities we found that there was a lack of places to buy the equipment to fully enjoy our hobbies. With the support of our friends in 2013 we opened our own store, specialising in country sports. Today we have a successful business where we can share our passions and knowledge with our wonderful customers.
